Many people say that vindalo was a recipe that was brought down by the Portuguese to Goa 500 years ago when it was first annexed.However there is another theory that vindaloo was invented by the East Indian community in the city of Bombay and another theory is that it owes its origins to the Anglo Indian community of India.We are not sure where it came from,but our version of the Goan pork vindaloo is peculiar due to the coconut vinegar and tastes delicious.
