Foreign Direct Investment is a business method by which governments allow foreign companies to invest directly into their multinational branches on foreign soil.Some companies make a rule whereby the multinational has to tie up with a local company first and then can transfer funds into this joint venture,but FDI bypasses this and is good for the economy by allowing it to fully privatize.
